The Art-For-Worship wish list

March 6, 2022

Up to this point, all that I have invested in this ministry is my own time and creativity. And maybe, a site with the occasional download and minimal traffic is all this was ever supposed to be. But I've visited a lot of different churches over the years, and there really does seem to be a need for this type of service. All I can do, all that I should do, is use my God-given abilities as a designer and illustrator to make the work, and then my technical know-how (limited though it may be) to put it "out there." If this is a valid ministry, God will make sure that it is sustained. It is certainly not my will, but God's. Still, I can't help but dream of what this might be someday. Although God may have something completely different in store, I've identified 4 milestones of growth, funds willing:

1) Purchase a premium domain and remove all CMS branding. Done. Not a major investment and something I'm willing to fork over annually out-of-pocket.

2) Begin promoting the site through online ads to increase traffic. No one benefits from this if no one knows about the site. Online marketing comes with a price tag, but you have to spend money to reach people.

3) If traffic builds and I start to receive more requests for custom images it may begin to interfere with my day job — the job that is currently supporting this site. If things ever get to that point, I would need to begin to take a draw to make up for lost commercial work.

4) Finally, should things really take off, I would need to hire a part-time staff and even design interns to help handle the workload.

I'm not going to sweat any of it. If it happens, it happens, if it doesn't and the reach of my imagery remains more modest, so be it. The over-arching goal of this ministry is to be able to help a worship leader or pastor deliver a message, and if in any way a life is changed, a soul is saved, a lost lamb is found through the experience, God is glorified.

Please use images from this website, if they fit your purposes. Please contact me if you need something custom or specific. And then, regarding support of this ministry, please only do what God puts on your heart to do, nothing more, nothing less.

Chuck.
